Biodiversity
Biodiversity
dictionary: the variety of life in the world or in a particular habitat or ecosystem.
own sentence: different species in the world such as animals and plants in a given habitat.
example: of all of the different species on Earth, the sea have the largest biodiversity with different species.
six-kingdoms
dictionary: a system for classifying different living spices and define their relationship between another.
own sentence: a system that classify the difference between different living species and group them into families base on their relationship from one species to another.
example: from the six kingdoms, mushrooms are classify as fungi.
dichotomous key
dictionary: is a tool created by scientist to them and laypeople identify objects and organism.
own sentence: is a toll that helps scientist to identify organisms and objects, this tool is also created by a scientist.
example: to be able to identify a species, plant or animal, you will need to use the dichotomous key.
classification of animals
dictionary: the systematic grouping of organisms into categories on the basis of evolutionary or structural relationship between them.
own sentence: the grouping between species who have the same relationships and categories.
example: there are 7 different types of animal classification which are, kingdom, phylum, class, order, family, genus, and species
food web
dictionary: a system if interlocking and interdependent food chains.
own sentence: where they are divided into prey and predators
example: the food web in the Savannah starts with little bugs that are eaten by mouse and continued to be eaten by snake that will be eaten
biome
dictionary: a region of the Earths surface and the particular combination of climate, plants and animals that are found in it.
own sentence: where you can find combination of climate, plants and animals in some parts of the Earth’s region.
example: The rainforest biome offers shelter, mineral, and lush trees for different species of animal to live and survive.
Ecosystem
dictionary: a biological community of interacting organisms and their physical environment
own sentence: the place where different organisms live and call home.
example: throwing trash to the sea could damage the eco system of the sea and its creatures.

Ecosystem and Energy flow
EcoSystem
According to english dictionary, the meaning of Ecosystem is ‘a biological community of interacting organisms and their physical environment. Ecosystem are filled with components such as soil, sunlight, heat water, plants, living organisms and non living organisms. Living organisms interact with each other and each organisms have their own role. a small change in ecosystem could change everything such as a species going extinct. not only will animals be affected but humans too, without meat and plants we cannot get the nutritions we needed.
Energy Flow
All living organisms requires energy through the food chain and ecosystem. The other term for Energy flow is called calorific flow. There are two important Laws of Thermodynamics in an ‘energy flow’. According to biologydiscussion.com The first law says “It states that the amount of energy in the universe is constant. It may change from one form to another, but it can neither be created nor destroyed. Light energy can be neither created nor destroyed as it passes through the atmosphere. It may, however, be transformed into another type of energy, such as chemical energy or heat energy.” and the second law says the main source is from the sun “It states that non-random energy (mechanical, chemical, radiant energy) cannot be changed without some degradation into heat energy.”.
Energy flow in Ecosystem: There are two forms of energy that living organisms can use, radiant energy and fixed energy. Radiant energy is in a form of electromagnetic waves also known as light. Fixed energy is a potential chemical energy that are bound to various organic substances which can be broken down in order to release their energy content.
Energy flow in food chain: Green plant trap solar energy to create chemical energy. The chemical energy is locked up into various of compounds such as carbohydrates, fats and proteins on the green plants. the sun help transfer energy to plants that created nutrients for living organisms like animals and humans.
